Enquiry Details - Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2013)

TAMIL NADU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TANCET) 2013 (for MBA, MCA & M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. degree programmes)

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2013 for MBA, MCA & M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. degree programmes, is scheduled on 6th and 7th April 2013.

In this connection, the enquiry office will be functioning on 5th April 2013 between 9.00 A.M. and 5.00 P.M. in 14 Cities (Other than Chennai City), and on 4th and 5th April, 2013 in Chennai city as given below.

The above details were already given in the Information & Instructions Booklet for

TANCET 2013 and is also available in the website www.annauniv.edu/tancet2013. Hall Tickets were issued through Registration in Person at all the Co-ordinating Centres and Registration through internet. The candidates who have misplaced / lost the hall tickets may report to the enquiry office along with a Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of ”The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University, Chennai” at the City for which they have opted and get the duplicate hall tickets.

The candidate has to bring a certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied/studying or from the Gazetted A / B Officer of the Central or State Government to the effect that he/she is a genuine candidate and evidence for having applied for TANCET 2013 and two copies of passport size photographs out of which one should be pasted on a white paper and attested.

New Application forms will not be issued for any reasons.

The retiring rooms can be booked in PRS counter along with the reservation. And also to get the retiring rooms from the stations masters itself to produce the original tickets of in and outward journey. In some stations the vacancy positions of retiring rooms will be made in the notice board or electronic holdings. Age restriction for availing LTC to son and daughter regarding...

What is the age of dependent son and daughter for LTC claim...? Is there any rule for unmarried dependent children are eligible to avail Leave Travel Concession or dependency is the only criteria..? Generally says that the female children are eligible upto marriage and male children are eligible upto age of twenty five. And one more view that the age limit for children in case of LTC should be same as for CGHS facility. According to the CCS (LTC) Rules, 1998, there is no indication of age, "Family" definition is given in the rule, "two surviving unmarried children wholly dependent on the Government servant, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government servant or not". There is no age limit for availing LTC for the wholly dependent son or daughter.
