OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject: Grant of Transport Allowance to Orthopaedically handicapped Central Government employees. The undersigned is directed to refer to this Ministry’s Office Memorandum No. 19029/1/78-E.IV(B) dated 3rd December, 1979, as amended from time to time and to say that the criteria for orttiopaedically handicapped employees to draw Transport Allowance at doub’e the normal rates has been reviewed in consultation with the Minisy of Health & Family Welfare.
