NR provides an additional stoppage at Kiratpur Sahib to UNA Jan Shatabdi Northern Railway provides additional stoppage to UNA JAN SHATABDI EXPRESS train at KIRATPUR SAHIB… For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage to the train no. 12057/12058 New Delhi- Una- New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express at Kiratpur Sahib station o­n experimental basis for six months from 10.10.2013 as per the following schedule: The 12057 New Delhi- Una Jan Shatabdi Express train will reach Kiratpur Sahib station at 08.51 p.m., while in the return direction, the 12058 Una- New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express train will reach Kiratpur Sahib station at 05.57 a.m. with o­ne minute stoppage in both the directions from 10.10.2013. Economy, Hygienic and Quality food ‘Janta Khana’ in trains–Northern Railway Northern Railway is proudly announced that the Hygienic and economy food ‘Janta Khana’ providing only for Rs.15 to the passengers in trains. The Janta Khana consists of seven Puris (175gm) and Aloo dry curry (150gm) and pickle with quality packing is available at stations also. The Janta Khana is prepared and packed in base kitchen in a hygienic environment. Delhi Division, Northern Railway is ensuring that the Aloo Subzi is packed in a plastic disposable bowl covered with silver foil and the Puris are packed in silver foil before the two are placed in a cardboard box for sale to the passengers. The same is being sold at an economical rate of Rs. 15/- which is printed on the box. The date of preparation is also indicated on top of the Cardboard box. On an average, daily 14 to 15 thousand Janta Khana is being sold on stations in Delhi area.
