Next meeting proposed to be held on 27th July, 2012

Next JCM meeting proposed to be held on 27th July, 2012 for MACP anomalies . In this 5th NAC meeting, an important decision was taken is that the related to MACP anomalies will be discussed in the separate meeting. The separate meeting will also meet on 27th July this year and the Official Side also agreed that the leftover items, not included in the agenda, will be discussed. The next detailed discussion report has been published by AIRF today. National Anomaly Committee Meeting held to be held on tomorrow National Anomaly Committee Meeting to be held on tomorrow to review the pending agendas as informed earlier in this blog. In the last NAC meeting, which was held on 5.1.2012, could not be discussed all agenda items and the meeting had to be postponed. As already informed to all JCM Members of Staff Side, the meeting is going to be held in committee room No.119, North Block, New Delhi at 3.00 P.M on 17th July, 2012. All Central Government employees are expecting to resolve their problems in this meeting, certainly our leaders will do their level best. We will update the result of the meeting, as and when received.

Sanction of Child Care Leave to Female Industrial Employees After a long period, female industrial employees working in Defence establishments will enjoy the benefit of Child Care Leave.  All women industrial employees are showing cheers for getting the benefit to all federations, across several barriers. Especially can avail this benefit with effect from 1.9.2008, if any employee availed between 1.9.2008 and 20.10.2011 may be converted into CCL. Major federations in Defence Establishments were taken up the issue to Ministry level and demaned to grant the benefit to female industrial employees at par with the Non-Industrial employees. One of the greatest victory for the federations and greatest benefit for women employees.

Clarification on the term "station" under the scheme of Children Education Allowance - Hostel Subsidy One more clarification about the word of "Station"... Definition of the term "Station" under this scheme, the school or institution located beyond a distance of fifty kilometres from his / her residence. Hostel Subsidy would means expenses incurred by the Government servant if he/she keeps his/her children in a hostel of a residential school/institution located beyond a distance of 50 kilometres from his/her residence.

Children Education Allowance - Hostel Subsidy : Clarification on Audio-visual Fee One more fee is eligible for reimbursement under the scheme of CEA. Dopt has issued an important order regarding the scheme of Children Education Allowance / Hostel Subsidy on 23rd May, 2012. The order is clarified that fee paid to the school for the use of any aid or appliances by the child is reimbursable. Hence, if fee is charged by the school for teaching through audio-visual tools, the same is reimbursable. If there is any chance to pay the fee for audio-visual tools for your children, better to get with mention the word of audio-visual tools in the receipt for easy reimbursement.
