Enforcement of Model Code of Conduct in KVs with immediate effect The Additional Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya has intimated to all regional offices that the enforcement of code of conduct has come into force with immediate effect, after announcement of Lok Sabha Elections 2014 by Election Commission of India today. Accordingly, there is no inaugurations, shilanyas, stone laying ceremonies of any KV building etc., and in case of any clarification in this regard may be sought from the Headquarters in writing. No leave encashment is allowed for unavailed compensatory leave at the time of superannuation, resignation or death. Yoga teaching in KV Schools... Yoga teaching in KVs. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has decided to encourage yoga education in all its schools. The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2005 has set broad guidelines for physical education and elucidated the importance of including yoga as a compulsory subject.

A Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I.(Child born on 1st April should also be considered.) A. Central Schools Scheme – 2nd Central Pay Commission recommended… The second Central Pay Commission report submitted in 1959, in its report the commission has strongly recommended that the Central Government should encourage the growth of Education Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees liable to frequent transfers as well as other floating population in the country. Finally the Union Cabinet approved the Central Schools Scheme on the 20th November, 1962.
