Cabinet Committee approved 78 days wages as Bonus for Railway Employees Yesterday the Cabinet Committee approved the proposal on Bonus issue to Railway employees… The Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days wages will be paid to all the non-gazetted Railway employees for the financial year 2012-13. PLB equivalent to 78 days wages will be paid as a special case considering the good financial performances which is expected to motivate employees. The wage calculation ceiling prescribed for payment of PLB to eligible non-gazetted railway employees is Rs. 3500/- per month. The payment of PLB to eligible railway employees is made each year before the Dusshera / Puja holidays. About 12.37 lakh non-gazetted railway employees all over the country are likely to benefit. 

Railway Employees may get 78 days Bonus As per the media news, the Railway Board is likely declare 78 days bonus for this year. 78 days wages as productivity linked bonus will be considered by the Cabinet in the meeting expected to be held on 2nd or 3rd October 2013.
