Mysore Holiday Home : Suspension of Booking of holiday home at Mysore for two months

NOTICE / MOST IMMEDIATE No. D-11016/16/87-Regions Government of India Directorate of Estates Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi Dated 16.8.2012 Office Memorandum Subject: Suspension of Booking of holiday home at Mysore for two months (from 15.08.2012 to 15.10.2012) regarding. The work of vertical extension of existing holiday home at Mysore is in full swing as well as dismantling of existing water proofing at Ground Floor has started due to which there is a seepage in the Ground Floor Rooms. Besides, there is a disturbance to occupants due to construction activities and dust and breakage of water supply and electrical pipes. 2. in view of above and to avoid any inconvenience to the visitors of holiday home at Mysore. booking of Holiday Home at Mysore is being suspended for two months from 15.08.2012 to 15.10.2012. Application for booking for the aforesaid period will not be entertained and where booking already confirmed, the visitors are advised not proceed to the holiday home at Mysore.

Ministry of Communications & Information Technology Unemployment in IT Industry due to Recession in Other Countries  Most of the Information Technology-Information Technology Enabled Services (IT-ITES) exports from the country are to USA and European countries. As per National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM), the IT-ITES exports to USA and the European countries (including U.K.) account for almost 90% of the total IT-ITES exports from the country.  The direct employment by IT-ITES industry has increased from 2.54 million in FY2010-11 to 2.77 million in FY2011-12 with a net addition of 2.30 lakh employees in the work force.  The Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Shri Sachin Pilot stated this in the Rajya Sabha today.  PIB

Government not to allow defence representatives in pay panel, say sources New Delhi: The government has reportedly refused to accept the demand of the armed forces to allow military representation on the High Powered Committee, which has been formed to resolve the anomalies in the pension and benefits for the defence personnel. Top sources at the Centre have told NDTV that the government cannot agree to the demand as the panel was formed during the sixth pay commission and now it's a little too late to allow defence representatives on board. The Prime Minister is expected to make an announcement on the issue in his Independence Day speech on August 15. The sources added that the panel, which was formed by the Prime Minister, will have to address the concerns of the armed forces in the way issues were handled during the sixth pay commission.
