Haryana announces interim relief for 1.1.2014 The Haryana Cabinet yesterday approved a slew of incentives for various sections of the society, including women, employees and policemen. A state cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, here today approved 50 per cent concession in fee payable by women candidates to encourage them to join government jobs, an official spokesman said. The meeting also approved Rs 2,000 per month as Interim Relief to Class III and IV employees. The relief would be paid from January, 2014 and would be payable till the implementation of the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission set up by the Centre recently, he said. The Haryana government adopts the recommendations of the Central pay commission. The Cabinet also approved Risk Allowance for police personnel of the ranks of constable to Inspector. Ahead of festival season, the Tamil Nadu government has announced an 10% additional Dearness allowance hike in Dearness allowance to its employees and pensioners from 1.7.2013. As per media source, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Ms.Jayalalitha said in the meeting, the enhanced amount would be paid in cash from 1st July 2013. The official order will be published by the Finance Department soon.

An another additional 10 % of DA announced to state employees... A major compensation for steep price hike in all essential commodities has been given to the employees working under the Government of Chhattisgarh. Following the Central Government pattern, the State Govt of Chhattisgarh has decided to issue an additional Dearness allowance of 10% to its employees from 23.7.2013. This result of the total DA becomes now 90%. The formal orders has been issued by the Department of Finance on its official portal.

Dress Code for State Government of Karnataka The State Government of Karnataka has decided to enforce of dress code to its employees and staff. Its looks like uniform that should wear decent dress in offices, women staff should wear saree or chudidar and male employees to follow pants and shirt/pyjama/kurta, official said. Instructions given by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms to the employees working in secretariat, due to wear stylish dress like Jeans and T-shirts in offices. Already Group D employees are coming to office with wearing uniform, but, there is no recommendation  or repute on dress code.

JAN 2013 DA orders published by Finance Department of Rajasthan Grant of DA and DR to State Government employees and pensioners of Rajasthan - Orders published for 80% Dearness allowance with effect from 1.1.2013 for Rajasthan State Government Employees. It is a movement of immediate reflection to the existing employees and the pensioners of Rajasthan State Government, an additional dearness allowance enhanced by 8% from the existing level of 72% effective from 1.1.2013, the announcement which followed the Union cabinet's decision on DA hike to Central Government employees and pensioners yesterday. The state government has decided immediately to release additional dearness allowance by 8% to its employees and pensioners. It is good and happy move to the employees and old age pensioners and this is the first announcement from the states in India. Following the Central Government policy on this feature, state governments are implementing the privileges to its women employees. The order said that the government has decided to allow Child Care Leave to women employees working on regular basis, adhoc basis and also work-charged women employees to take care of their children at the time of need whether for rearing, or to look after any of their needs like examination, sickness etc. The order also explain the rules and regulations to avail the leave for a maximum of two years (730 days) during the entire service of an women employee.

UP and Chhattisgarh announces Dearness allowance to its employees

UP and Chhattisgarh Governments announces an additional Dearness allowance to its employees. UP Government announced to increase the dearness allowance by 7% to all government employees and teachers with effect from 1.1.2012.  At par with Central Government employees, the state government employees are getting almost same percentage of dearness allowance with effect from 1st Jan, 2012.  In this line, Chhattisgarh Governemnt has declared to enhance dearness allowance by 7% at par with Central Government employees.  The state government employees are now getting 58% dearness allowance with their salary, it will become 65% with effect from July 2012.
