Night Mega Block on Western Railway As per the press release issued by the Western Railway, a night block will be carried out 12th October, 2013… The details are given below… Night block on Wrly A night block will be carried out from 00.30 hrs to 04.00 hrs o­n Up Local (i.e. slow) line and o­n Down Local line from 01.00 hrs to 04.00 hrs o­n 12th October, 2013 between Vasai Road and Virar for maintenance of track, signalling and overhead equipments. During the block, all local line trains will be run o­n Through (i.e. fast) lines between Borivali/Vasai Road and Virar. During the block, Down Churchgate – Virar locals will be run o­n fast lines between Virar and Vasai Road/Borivali. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

JUMBO BLOCK ON FAST LINES BETWEEN GOREGAON AND BORIVALI STATIONS ON SUNDAY, 7TH APRIL, 2013 To carry out maintenance work of track, signaling & overhead equipments, five hours jumbo block will be taken between Goregaon and Borivali stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday i.e 7th April, 2013 o­n Up & Down Through i.e fast lines.         During the block period, all Up & Down fast line trains will run o­n slow lines between Goregaon and Borivali stations. Also, Borivali trains will be dealt o­n Platform No. 7/8/2 and Virar trains o­n Platform No.1/3 at Borivali. Mail/Express trains will be dealt o­n Platform No. 6/6A and 3 at Borivali. Some Up & Down local trains will remain cancelled.          Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

Central Railway conducts Mega Block on 7.4.2013 MEGA BLOCK o­n 7.4.2013 Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 7.4.2013: - ON UP FAST LINE BETWEEN KALYAN AND THANE STATIONS FROM 10.30 AM TO 3.30 PM. Up fast line services leaving Kalyan from 10.30 am to 3.33 pm will be diverted o­n Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations between Kalyan and Thane, further will be re-diverted Up fast line. These Up fast line services will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus 20 minutes behind schedule.  Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.08 am to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
