NMC stresses on 20% Interim Relief for State and Central Government Employees – News Report The National Mazdoor Conference has urged the Chairman of the newly formed 7th Pay Commission recommend that 20% interim relief be given to all Central and State Government employees. As per Newspapers report that the National Mazdoor Conference has also strongly demanded that these recommendations be submitted to the new government that is likely to form at the Centre. The NMC President, Subhash Shastri said in a letter to 7th Pay Commission that along with the State and Central Government employees, the interim relief of 20% of basic pay be also extended to pensioners too and that these demands be recommended as soon as the Election Commission’s restrictions(Model Code of conduct Rules) end.  Shastri emphasised that whenever the recommendation of the commission are submitted to the Central government, the Commission should extend these recommendations to the state governments in genera...

Possibility to announce Interim Relief before elections Proposals of Enhancement of Retirement age and Merger of D.A may not materialize It was learnt from the sources close to the Union Government that the proposals of Enhancement of Retirement age of Central Government Employees from 60 to 62 years and Merger of D.A to basic pay may not be materialized now before General elections.  Accordingly, these two proposals have not been taken up for consideration by the union Cabinet in its meeting held on friday. 7th Pay Commission may recommend in its interim report to merge 50% of DA with basic pay..! NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet on Friday raised dearness allowance to 100% from 90%, benefiting 50 lakh employees and 30 lakh pensioners. The government has also cleared the way for merger of 50% DA with basic pay by approving it among the terms of reference of the 7th Pay Commission. An official said now the commission can suggest the merger in its interim report.

Haryana announces interim relief for 1.1.2014 The Haryana Cabinet yesterday approved a slew of incentives for various sections of the society, including women, employees and policemen. A state cabinet meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, here today approved 50 per cent concession in fee payable by women candidates to encourage them to join government jobs, an official spokesman said. The meeting also approved Rs 2,000 per month as Interim Relief to Class III and IV employees. The relief would be paid from January, 2014 and would be payable till the implementation of the recommendation of the 7th Pay Commission set up by the Centre recently, he said. The Haryana government adopts the recommendations of the Central pay commission. The Cabinet also approved Risk Allowance for police personnel of the ranks of constable to Inspector.
