Dress Code for State Government of Karnataka The State Government of Karnataka has decided to enforce of dress code to its employees and staff. Its looks like uniform that should wear decent dress in offices, women staff should wear saree or chudidar and male employees to follow pants and shirt/pyjama/kurta, official said. Instructions given by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms to the employees working in secretariat, due to wear stylish dress like Jeans and T-shirts in offices. Already Group D employees are coming to office with wearing uniform, but, there is no recommendation  or repute on dress code.

Revision of HRA for Karnataka State Govt employees Karnataka Government has decided to revise the places and rate of House Rent Allowance to the employees working under State Government. Earlier the Government has constituted a committee as Official Pay Committee 2011, as per recommendations of the committee the places of cities and towns are classified into 4 types for the purpose of HRA with the connection of population based. Now the Government has approved to re-classify the Urban and Rural areas in the State as A, B and C categories for the purpose of HRA and the revise the rates accordingly...
