Dopt extended the relaxation period for further two years to travel by air to visit J & K under CCS(LTC) Rules. Department of Personnel and Training issued orders regarding the relaxation period has been extended for further two years from 18.6.2012. The other terms and conditions are prescribed in the orders. This concession was extended upto 17.6.2014 to avail to visit J & K by air. The contents of the Dopt order is reproduced and given below for your ready reference… G.I., Dept. of Per. & Trg., O.M. Fraudulent / Misuse claim of Leave Travel Concession

Fraudulent /  Misuse  claim of Leave Travel Concession Fraudulent /  Misuse of LTC : As per the CCS (LTC) Rules, disciplinary action will be taken when an employee f raudulent /  misuse of LTC . Government servant shall not be allowed the leave travel concession till the finalisation of such disciplinary proceedings. If he/she found guilty : If the disciplinary proceedings result in imposition of any of the penalties specified in Rule 11 of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965, the Government servant shall not be allowed the next two sets of the leave travel concession in addition to the sets already withheld during the pendancy of the disciplinary proceedings. For reasons to be recorded in writing, the controlling authority can also disallow more than two sets of leave travel concession.
