Revision of Fare for Duronto and Rajdhani-Dhatabadi Express trains Revision in Fare of AC Classes of Duronto Express Trains at par with Rajdhani-Shatabadi Express for Comparable Classes with Effect from 10th October,2013 Ministry of Railways has decided to further revise the fares of AC classes of Duronto Express trains at par with Rajdhani-Shatabadi Express for comparable classes. There shall be no change in the fares of sleeper class and non-AC chair car classes of Duronto Express. The new changes in fares of Duronto Express shall come into force w.e.f. 10th October, 2013 in the case of tickets already issued at pre-revised rate, the difference in fare and other charge will be recovered for journeys undertaken on or after 10th October, 2013 either by TTEs on the trains or by the booking/reservation offices before the commencement of journey by passenger. NR provides an additional stoppage at Kiratpur Sahib to UNA Jan Shatabdi Northern Railway provides additional stoppage to UNA JAN SHATABDI EXPRESS train at KIRATPUR SAHIB… For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage to the train no. 12057/12058 New Delhi- Una- New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express at Kiratpur Sahib station o­n experimental basis for six months from 10.10.2013 as per the following schedule: The 12057 New Delhi- Una Jan Shatabdi Express train will reach Kiratpur Sahib station at 08.51 p.m., while in the return direction, the 12058 Una- New Delhi Jan Shatabdi Express train will reach Kiratpur Sahib station at 05.57 a.m. with o­ne minute stoppage in both the directions from 10.10.2013. The other features like route, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

An another Double Decker Train introduced between Habibganj and Indore AC Double Decker Train Service between Habibganj and Indore in Madhya Pradesh Flagged Off The AC Double Decker train between Habibganj and Indore, the first ever such train service in the state of Madhya Pradesh, was flagged off by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury at Habibganj railway station in Bhopal today i.e. 27th September 2013. This LHB AC Double Decker is the fifth such train in the country. In addition to this, four other trains are already running between Jaipur-Delhi, Mumbai- Ahmedabad, Chennai-Banglore and Howrah-Dhanbad. Coaches of these LHB AC Double Decker trains are having better passenger amenities such as reclining chairs, snack tables bottle holders, automatic AC compartment entrance doors etc. Also present among others on the occasion were Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Shri Kailash Joshi, Members of Parliament (Rajyasabha) Dr. Najma A.
