Kanhoji Angre Light House–Become a new tourist attraction in Mumbai… Get ready for a new day trip from Mumbai to Kanhoji Angre Light House The Kanhoji Angre lighthouse off the Mumbai coast is all set to become a new tourist attraction. A formal announcement to this effect was made by the Union Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi in Mumbai along with Minister of State for Shipping Milind Deora at the Port Trust Headquarters. The Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Shipping have drawn up plans to develop 15 light houses across the country, as places of tourist attractions. Speaking on the occasion, Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi said his Ministry has agreed to extend financial assistance for development of light houses as tourist attractions. Following the Central Government pattern, the State Govt of Chhattisgarh has decided to issue an additional Dearness allowance of 10% to its employees from 23.7.2013. This result of the total DA becomes now 90%. The formal orders has been issued by the Department of Finance on its official portal.

An another Double Decker Train introduced between Habibganj and Indore AC Double Decker Train Service between Habibganj and Indore in Madhya Pradesh Flagged Off The AC Double Decker train between Habibganj and Indore, the first ever such train service in the state of Madhya Pradesh, was flagged off by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury at Habibganj railway station in Bhopal today i.e. 27th September 2013. This LHB AC Double Decker is the fifth such train in the country.
