Two Special Trains Between Hyderabad-Kakinada Town

South Central Railway will run two Special Trains between Hyderabad and Kakinada Town  in order to clear extra rush of passengers as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07101 Hyderabad-Kakinada Town Special train will depart Hyderabad at 22 40 hrso­n 20thSeptember, 2013, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 23 10 / 23 15 hrs and arrive Kakinada Town at 09 25 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07102 Kakinada Town - Hyderabad Special trainwill depart Kakinada Town at 18 00 hrso­n 21st September, 2013 and arrive / depart Secunderabad at 05 30 / 05 35 o­n the next day hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 06 05 hrs.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and Samalkot stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.

Age restriction for availing LTC to son and daughter regarding...

What is the age of dependent son and daughter for LTC claim...? Is there any rule for unmarried dependent children are eligible to avail Leave Travel Concession or dependency is the only criteria..? Generally says that the female children are eligible upto marriage and male children are eligible upto age of twenty five. And one more view that the age limit for children in case of LTC should be same as for CGHS facility. According to the CCS (LTC) Rules, 1998, there is no indication of age, "Family" definition is given in the rule, "two surviving unmarried children wholly dependent on the Government servant, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government servant or not". There is no age limit for availing LTC for the wholly dependent son or daughter.

Mini Bus Scheme in Tamil Nadu : The transport services provided by the Government to the public is increasing day by day. More than 18,000 buses are operated through out the State. These facilities are available in rural, semi-urban and urban areas. Apart from this public transport system, recognizing the need to provide public transport facilities to the people of unserved or inadequately served , semi-urban and rural areas, the Government introduced the " Mini-bus Services Scheme " to be operated by private individuals from 1997. Considering the benefits of this scheme ' Government modified this scheme in 1999 enabling operations of Mini Buses in the rural areas for a total distance of 20 kms, with an overlapping distance of 4 kms on the served sectors .
