Lateral Entry c ounselling dates for all groups has been published by ACCET ACCET has issued detailed notification of counselling schedule for admission to second year B.E/B.Tech degree courses 2012-13. The counselling will be started on 18th July, 2012 and it will be held upto 9th August, 2012.  Counselling call letters are dispatched to the selected students who have applied for direct second year B.E. admissions 2012. The eligible candidates who have not received the call letter are directed to the counselling centre with relevant documents for proof of sending applications as per the above counselling schedule. If there is any change in the marks during revaluation, the concerned candidates are directed to report to the revised counselling session as per the revaluation mark and rank. Counselling for B.A/B.L started today TNDALU Counselling 2012 Counselling for five year B.A/B.L courses today started in Ambedkar Law University in Tamil Nadu. Over four thousand candidates have applied for 1,052 seats in the 6 Government colleges for five year course. Among the applications, 330 applications has been rejected due to several reasons. One thousand two hundred candidates were selected and they are called according to their cut-off marks to counselling.

Over 6 lakh candidates to attend TET Exam today More than six lakh teachers are appearing the TET today. A sum of 6.5 lakh candidates are appearing across the state in the examination of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) today. Tamil Nadu government has declared holiday for all government and aided schools including KV schools in the state. Total of 1,027 centres across the state have been arranged to conduct the TET for Teachers and Non Teachers category. Special arrangements have been made for the persons with physically and visually handicapped. Ground floor of the centres will be allotted to the physically challenged persons.

Lateral entry counselling are being conducted by ACCET (Allagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology). The counselling for B.E/B.Tech admission to direct second year for diploma and B.Sc students will be started from 18.7.2012 and it ends with 9.8.2012. As per the schedule informed by the principal, for B.Sc students counselling will be started on 18th July and Diploma holders in Chemical, Textile and Leather Technology will be on 19.7.2012. The Civil diploma holders will be called for counselling between 20.7.2012 to 23.7.2012. For Mechanical students counselling will be held from 24.7.2012 to 29.7.2012.
