Railway Board issued guidelines regarding ATVM in stations Railway Board has issued guidelines to issue of unreserved tickets through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM) in major stations in India. ATVM in major stations were installed by the respect of Zonal Railways with the guidelines of Railway Board’s order and they given permit upto 31st March 2013 only. Now it has been extended further one more year with some restrictions for facilitators to run the ATVMs to issue unreserved tickets to the passengers. The facilitator should be a retired railway employee and entitlement of age below 65. The facility of 5% bonus is continue to available for passengers who use their own ATVM smart cards.
