7th Pay Commission is seeking the considered views of all stakeholders 7th Pay Commission is seeking for suggestions on various issues The 7th Pay Commission compiled a list of questions and sent it along with a circular to all the Ministries/Departments of Indian Government, inviting their suggestions. It has come to our knowledge that the circular was also sent to all the Central Government employee federations. This could be treated as a irrefutable proof of the fact that the 7th Pay Commission has already started its work! 7th PAY COMMISSION - CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEES 7th CPC – STEP 1 The Prime Minister of India gave consent to the formation of 7th CPC on 25-09-2013. Finance Minister P. Chidambaram announced that the Prime Minister has formally given his consent to the formation of the 7th CPC. Announcement was also made that it would be implemented on 01.01.2016. Usually, not only employees, news agencies also would start guessing when the announcement would be declared. But this time, there were no such speculations. It has become clear that the Government’s decision and the date of announcement of 7th CPC are being kept secret. The sudden announcement had caught everybody by surprise. There is no doubt about the fact that it was a pleasant surprise to all Central Govt Employees...!

Should the GRADE PAY STRUCTURE continue in the 7th CPC too?

Should the GRADE PAY STRUCTURE continue in the 7th CPC too? Once every 10 years, the Central Government revises the pay grades of its employees. It is common knowledge that the Cabinet had ordered the formation of the 7th CPC (CENTRAL PAY COMMISSION) and has also given its approval to the TERMS OF REFERENCE. The Central Government has, until now, constituted six CPCs. The 6th CPC has the distinction of having introduced the GRADE PAY STRUCTURE. Until then, there was only the PAY SCALE. It was the 6th CPC that changed it to PAY BAND, GRADE PAY and PAY IN THE PAY BAND. It was then said that the reconstitution was made to reduce the number of categories in the PAY SCALE. They also explained how GRADE PAY was calculated.

LDC-UDC ISSUE-TOWARDS A FINAL ACTION PAPER  SUBMITTED IN THE DELHI MEETING Dear friends, This is an assembly of the representatives of deprived & low paid but highly responsible employees in the clerical cadre of category of Group C working in various offices of Government of India offices i.e. LDC & UDC whose cases have been ignored by successive pay commissions and Governments with regard to the payment of equal pay for equal work and genuine promotional avenues. On the other hand, the various Employees Federations in which the Administrative Staff including the LDC & UDC are members in Ministries/Departments of the Government of India have not been taking interest to resolve the issue of LDC & UDC so far and as such the issue could not be highlighted.  During the last few months we have done vigorous campaign justifying the higher Grade pay to these sections through the web site www.aiamshq.blogspot.in .
