Jumbo Block on Fast Lines between Goregaon and Borivali on 7.4.2013

Western RailwayJUMBO BLOCK ON FAST LINES BETWEEN GOREGAON AND BORIVALI STATIONS ON SUNDAY, 7TH APRIL, 2013

To carry out maintenance work of track, signaling & overhead equipments, five hours jumbo block will be taken between Goregaon and Borivali stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday i.e 7th April, 2013 o­n Up & Down Through i.e fast lines.

        During the block period, all Up & Down fast line trains will run o­n slow lines between Goregaon and Borivali stations. Also, Borivali trains will be dealt o­n Platform No. 7/8/2 and Virar trains o­n Platform No.1/3 at Borivali. Mail/Express trains will be dealt o­n Platform No. 6/6A and 3 at Borivali. Some Up & Down local trains will remain cancelled.

         Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

The retiring rooms can be booked in PRS counter along with the reservation. And also to get the retiring rooms from the stations masters itself to produce the original tickets of in and outward journey. In some stations the vacancy positions of retiring rooms will be made in the notice board or electronic holdings. Age restriction for availing LTC to son and daughter regarding...

What is the age of dependent son and daughter for LTC claim...? Is there any rule for unmarried dependent children are eligible to avail Leave Travel Concession or dependency is the only criteria..? Generally says that the female children are eligible upto marriage and male children are eligible upto age of twenty five. And one more view that the age limit for children in case of LTC should be same as for CGHS facility. According to the CCS (LTC) Rules, 1998, there is no indication of age, "Family" definition is given in the rule, "two surviving unmarried children wholly dependent on the Government servant, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government servant or not". There is no age limit for availing LTC for the wholly dependent son or daughter.
