Rajasthan Govt DAJAN 2013 DA orders published by Finance Department of Rajasthan

Grant of DA and DR to State Government employees and pensioners of Rajasthan - Orders published for 80% Dearness allowance with effect from 1.1.2013 for Rajasthan State Government Employees.

It is a movement of immediate reflection to the existing employees and the pensioners of Rajasthan State Government, an additional dearness allowance enhanced by 8% from the existing level of 72% effective from 1.1.2013, the announcement which followed the Union cabinet's decision on DA hike to Central Government employees and pensioners yesterday.

The state government has decided immediately to release additional dearness allowance by 8% to its employees and pensioners. It is good and happy move to the employees and old age pensioners and this is the first announcement from the states in India.

The order said, the enhanced payment for the period from Jan to March shall be credited to the GPF account of the respective employees and cash payment shall be admissible from April salary for the month of April, 2013 payable on 1st May, 2013.

Age restriction for availing LTC to son and daughter regarding...

What is the age of dependent son and daughter for LTC claim...? Is there any rule for unmarried dependent children are eligible to avail Leave Travel Concession or dependency is the only criteria..? Generally says that the female children are eligible upto marriage and male children are eligible upto age of twenty five. And one more view that the age limit for children in case of LTC should be same as for CGHS facility. According to the CCS (LTC) Rules, 1998, there is no indication of age, "Family" definition is given in the rule, "two surviving unmarried children wholly dependent on the Government servant, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government servant or not". There is no age limit for availing LTC for the wholly dependent son or daughter.

Mini Bus Scheme in Tamil Nadu : The transport services provided by the Government to the public is increasing day by day. More than 18,000 buses are operated through out the State. These facilities are available in rural, semi-urban and urban areas. Apart from this public transport system, recognizing the need to provide public transport facilities to the people of unserved or inadequately served , semi-urban and rural areas, the Government introduced the " Mini-bus Services Scheme " to be operated by private individuals from 1997. Considering the benefits of this scheme ' Government modified this scheme in 1999 enabling operations of Mini Buses in the rural areas for a total distance of 20 kms, with an overlapping distance of 4 kms on the served sectors .
