In order to convenience of the passengers to travel to Hindaun City in Jammu Tawi Bandra express, Northern Railway has decided to create stoppage during the summer period.

Additional stoppage to Jammu Tawi – Bandra Terminus summer special train at Hindaun City.

For the convenience of the rail passengers during summer rush, Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage to the 09021/09022 Jammu Tawi- Bandra Terminus- Jammu Tawi Summer Special Express Train at Hindaun City as per the under-mentioned programme:

The 09021 Bandra Terminus- Jammu Tawi Summer Special Express Train will arrive at Hindaun City at 09.05 a.m., while in return direction, the 09022 Jammu Tawi- Bandra Terminus Summer Special train will arrive at Hindaun City at 09.58 p.m. with two minutes stoppage in both the directions.

The other features like timings, composition, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

Age restriction for availing LTC to son and daughter regarding...

What is the age of dependent son and daughter for LTC claim...? Is there any rule for unmarried dependent children are eligible to avail Leave Travel Concession or dependency is the only criteria..? Generally says that the female children are eligible upto marriage and male children are eligible upto age of twenty five. And one more view that the age limit for children in case of LTC should be same as for CGHS facility. According to the CCS (LTC) Rules, 1998, there is no indication of age, "Family" definition is given in the rule, "two surviving unmarried children wholly dependent on the Government servant, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government servant or not". There is no age limit for availing LTC for the wholly dependent son or daughter.

Mini Bus Scheme in Tamil Nadu : The transport services provided by the Government to the public is increasing day by day. More than 18,000 buses are operated through out the State. These facilities are available in rural, semi-urban and urban areas. Apart from this public transport system, recognizing the need to provide public transport facilities to the people of unserved or inadequately served , semi-urban and rural areas, the Government introduced the " Mini-bus Services Scheme " to be operated by private individuals from 1997. Considering the benefits of this scheme ' Government modified this scheme in 1999 enabling operations of Mini Buses in the rural areas for a total distance of 20 kms, with an overlapping distance of 4 kms on the served sectors .
