Reservation Fee and Supplementary Charges Revised charges of Reservation Fee and Supplementary Charges effective from 1.4.2013

Indian Railway published the revised reservation fee and supplementary charges for Superfast Trains from 1st April, 2013. The enhanced Reservation Fee to be withdrawn.

The charges of Reservation Fee and Supplementary charges for superfast trains have been revised w.e.f 1st April, 2013. The Enhanced reservation fee which is levied o­n tickets booked for journey originating from other than the ticket booking station, like return tickets, o­nward journey tickets, etc. is also withdrawn w.e.f. 1st April, 2013. The revised charges are as under.

The retiring rooms can be booked in PRS counter along with the reservation. And also to get the retiring rooms from the stations masters itself to produce the original tickets of in and outward journey. Age restriction for availing LTC to son and daughter regarding...

What is the age of dependent son and daughter for LTC claim...? Is there any rule for unmarried dependent children are eligible to avail Leave Travel Concession or dependency is the only criteria..? Generally says that the female children are eligible upto marriage and male children are eligible upto age of twenty five. And one more view that the age limit for children in case of LTC should be same as for CGHS facility. According to the CCS (LTC) Rules, 1998, there is no indication of age, "Family" definition is given in the rule, "two surviving unmarried children wholly dependent on the Government servant, irrespective of whether they are residing with the Government servant or not". There is no age limit for availing LTC for the wholly dependent son or daughter.
